Projects
The vision of Haiti Providence University (HPU) is to expand enrollment and to eventually reach enrollment of 1000 students. The university will continue to expand its facilities to support athletics and the performing arts. On the available 200 acres, there are also plans for development of private residential and commercial businesses.
The following are project areas that the University Board of Directors has identified as current priorities. If you are interested in learning more about any of these programs, please contact us.
Building Construction
Classrooms and additional space for administrative offices continue to be a priority at the university.
Agriculture
Situated in a rural setting some distance from markets and other businesses, the university has portioned several acres of land for growing crops and a tree nursery.
Student Scholarships
With limited public education in Haiti, there is a strong need for financial assistance for most of the students at the university.
Academic Programs & Curriculum
Programs offered at Haiti Providence University are Education/Teaching, Health Services, Theology and Business Administration. Development efforts are underway to add Agriculture and Civil Engineering degree programs. Through generous donations, volunteer teachers and integrated learning opportunities, these programs are made possible.
